Due to a swell of popular demand, Kendrick Lamar has today announced that he will be extending his European tour for February and March of 2018. The extension includes an extra show in London, at Wembley Arena, as well as an additional gig in Paris. Tickets for these new dates go on sale at 9am on Friday October 13, and you can see the full list of dates below.
The tour will mark the Compton MC’s first return to European shores since 2013, and Lamar will be supported by James Blake during all dates, which kick off in Dublin on February 7 next year.
Kendrick confirmed the suspicions of many recently, by revealing that his latest project DAMN.- the album this tour is in support of- can be played fully in reverse. “It plays as a full story and even a better rhythm,” he explained, “It’s one of my favourite rhythms and tempos within the album. It’s something that we definitely premeditate while we’re in the studio.”
Lamar has been in high demand after the critical acclaim that DAMN. and it’s accompanying singles and videos have received, and last month he opened MTV’s VMAs with an incendiary performance of smash singles ‘DNA’ and ‘Humble’
