Producer and musician Kelly Lee Ownes announced that her upcoming European Tour this fall has been cancelled due to coronavirus. She shared the news on her social media stating the EU tour has been cancelled “for several reasons“.
“Let me be candid as to why. The main reason is of course the ongoing pandemic. That plus the anxiety of dealing with individual countries in a post-Brexit touring world and the extra fees etc that come with that” – she explains. “Both of these things combined have thrown up a huge amount of anxiety for me. I don’t cancel things lightly, but I have to look after myself“.
Owens continued: “This past year has been disappointing for me, as it means everything to play to you guys, and to never have played Inner Song even once yet is super painful“.

Kelly Lee Owens album from 2020 “Inner Song” has been described as: “a tribute to the loner in everyone. Through a batch of loop-heavy tracks, Owens conveys an overarching sense of solitude and allows the listener to explore that feeling in each song. She guides the listener through each song with ease, throwing out the conventions of electronic music in favor of a cerebral journey through a computerized stew of glitchy, elegant beats”. The Welsh musician has recently announced her US Tour dates which will start this September and still go ahead. UK tour hasn’t been affected either and will kick off this November in Belfast and ends in London. Tickets can be purchase here.
