The music industry’s most opinion dividing character Kanye West is rumoured to be about to start announcing tour dates to help with the production and sales of his latest album ‘The Life of Pablo’.

Kanye’s seventh studio album was released earlier this week on 14th February. However in typical Kanye fashion it’s release has been heavily limited, with ‘The Life of Pablo’ only being for sale through the music streaming service ‘Tidal’. Whatever your thoughts on Kanye are you cannot fault his musical talent, ‘The Life of Pablo’ very similarly to the rest of his work has been widely critically acclaimed.

The rumours in regard to a new Kanye tour have emerged with apparent sources close to Kanye speaking to Billboard saying that a new tour is imminent. This would not be overly surprising, with most artists doing a new tour recently after an album release as it provides the audience with the chance to hear the album in person; as well as a big chance for advertising for the album. However with ‘The Life of Pablo’ being limited to Tidal, it will be interesting to see whether for the tour Kanye takes it off Tidal and makes it more freely accessible.
