A few days ago we did an article on Kanye West’s new album, which was set to be called ‘Swish’ (see article here). Today Kanye has again take to twitter to post a picture of the updated title, ‘Waves':

As you can see it’s the same piece of paper that he had initially uploaded on the 24th:
So happy to be finished with the best album of all time pic.twitter.com/JBWa8OWvqw

We’ll have to keep an eye on this story as well, as fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa has apparently taken a dislike to Kanye’s new title, tweeting that it’s insulting to incarcerated rapper Max B. Wiz sent out a number of tweets calling Max B the ‘true wave’. Kanye did respond to the criticism, but it’s safe to say Wiz didn’t respond well to it:

It is also interesting to note that Kanye is no longer calling it ‘the best album of all time’ but rather the ‘album of life’. ‘Waves’ is set to be released next month on February 11th wherein Kanye will perform the album in its entirety in New York at Madison Square Garden, but UK fans do not worry, the show is set to be live streamed around the world in cinemas.
Cinema company Vue had this to say on the performance:
“Screened live from New York’s Madison Square Garden, this is the first time music fans and Kanye enthusiasts alike will hear the record, which will be accompanied by a breath-taking performance curated by celebrated Italian contemporary artist, Vanessa Beecroft.”
