Kamal Releases New Single ‘lose’ and Announces Upcoming Project ‘War Outside’.
18-year-old Singer Kamal has released his most recent single ‘lose’ and has announced his upcoming project ‘War outside’ which will be released on June 11. The single titled ‘lose’ was released last week accompanied by a video that saw the young RnB singer in a number of tranquil locations.
The EP from the singer out of North West London will be his first project, after having released 6 songs so far including ‘homebody’, the only other song from the upcoming project to have been released.
The young artist announced the release on his Instagram with the simple caption “my first EP ‘War outside’ drops June 11” accompanied with a photo of the project cover and tracklist.
The project follows a surprise feature on UK superstar Dave’s song ‘Mercury’ which the South London rapper released after a long hiatus in a two-pack titled, ’Titanium & Mercury’.
The young songwriter covers topics of anxiety, love and night bus trip, his unique voice and raw talent make him one of the UK’s most exciting emerging stars. He is signed to independent label Neighbourhood home to collaborator and young British star Dave.
He gained a lot of attention during lockdown having released his last 3 singles during this time, in an interview with the telegraph the 18-year-old singer said “I think that’s why my songs have picked up traction, everyone is stuck at home, so they clicked with it,”
Kamal’s debut EP” ‘War outside’ will be released on June 11 and will feature seven songs, the title track ‘War outside’ was previewed by the artist on Instagram in a clip he posted and captioned “there’s a war outside” in early March.
