K Koke announces a new project I ain’t perfect. The 13 track project features 11 artists across 6 tracks and is set to release on Halloween, the 31st of October.
K Koke is from NW10, Stonebridge and has been rapping for well over 10 years cementing himself as a legend within the UK street rap scene.
He has had a career with a lot of impressive achievements signing to Jay-z’s Roc Nation record label in 2011 and saw him collaborate with a number of high profile artists in the years he was signed to the label, including Bridget Kelly, Maverick Sabre and Rita ORA. The later benign the artists he shared the most success with their single “Lay down your weapons” which peaked on the UK charts at 18th and stayed there for 3 consecutive weeks.
Koke’s new project features him in front of what looks to be his Stonebridge estate with the postcode NW10 sprayed on the building and photos of the friends he had lost in the sky above the block.
The track without features will hopefully allow Koke to showcase the elite rapping ability that helped him gain recognition from one of the greatest rappers in the world and as one of the best rappers in the UK. The unfeatured tracks are listed as “Intro”,” Spooky”, “Left & Right”, “Papi Chulo”, “Why Not?”, “Frontline” and “I ain’t perfect”.
His features are Stonebridge heavy with artists such as Big French and Leng who feature on the track “T.S.G” and Krash Corn who features on “We da opps”. He also links up with fellow north-west Londoners on the track “6 &10” featuring south Kilburn Cbiz and Justo as well as midlands rapper RD. Ambush who has released hits such as “Jumpy” and “Man Cant” features on track 6 “Blocka” and Jamaican dancehall legend Bount Killa features on track 5 “People Dead”. On track 11 K Koke goes old school calling up early UK rap pioneers, Jaja Soze, Mike GLC and S.A.S on the fitting named track “Originals”.
K Kokes new project I ain’t perfect will be the artist’s first project since 2017 when he dropped Pure Koke vol.4.
K Koke new project is set to drop on October the 31st and can be pre-ordered here.
