The Brit Award ceremony (which is set to take place February 24th in the O2 in London) has announced that Canadian singer Justin Bieber and England’s very own Coldplay are set to perform at the prestigious music awards.
The announcement was today confirmed on twitter.
Details about the annual Brit Awards were initially announced in early September as seen here.
However following Coldplay’s mass success following their recent new album ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ they have been confirmed as performers at the ceremony. This has come as no surprise, with them recently having to add a new tour date to their British tour for 2016 due to their popularity, it was inevitable that they would capitalise on their successes. Coldplay have also recently been confirmed to be performing at the Superbowl half time show, not quite a big deal in the UK but across the pond in America this is regarded as a huge, huge deal.

Justin Bieber is also set to perform at the awards ceremony, similar to Coldplay he is coming off the back off a hugely successful album ‘Purpose’ was released last month and so far met widespread chart success.
