Former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson has found herself in a battle where various record labels have been fighting for her signature. Since her split from the group in December last year, the 29-year-old singer has signed with a new management company, YMU Entertainment, to ensure she has global representation. And since then, has been fielding a bidding war worth over two million pounds from interested labels.
The singer and presenter has been working with the same team who were responsible for the Little Mix 2016 hit, ‘Touch’. The team, consisting of Patrick Patrikios and Hanni Ibrahim, have been hard at work in the studio with Nelson. With the promise of new material in support of Nelson’s career move as a solo artist, record labels are keener than ever to sign the singer.
A source from the ‘The Sun’ has revealed Nelson’s new career goals as well as providing an update on when we can expect to hear her new music.
“Jesy’s tracks have got the music industry in a spin and she has big-money offers on the table from a few key record labels all desperate to sign her. It’s an exciting time for Jesy as she’s in a great place and has loved being creative in the studio. If all goes to plan she’ll have music out this year and will have some sure-fire hits. The world is her oyster.”

Nelson, who attributed her decision to leave with her struggles with mental health posted an emotional message to her fans which explained her reasons for leaving as well as a heartfelt thank you to her fans for their support.
