Jess Glynne has announced she will be playing a series of gigs in the wilderness next year as part of her Forest Live tour. Jess Glynne will play five open-air shows in forests around the UK in summer 2019. Tickets are on sale now costing around £44.50 + a booking fee. You can purchase them here.
Forest Live is an annual major live music series managed by the Forestry Commission and is held in seven beautiful forest locations across the country. Income in which is generated from the ticket sales helps look after the nations forests sustainably, for people to enjoy wildlife to thrive. The Forest Live is known for its informal and relaxed atmosphere which is accompanied by a beautiful forest backdrop.
Jess Glynne said: ‘I do hope you can join me in the Summer as part of Forest Live. I am really looking forward to performing in these unique woodland locations around the country.’
Glynne has been an artist who has been in the charts since 2014 with her release of ‘Rather Be’ with Clean bandit and her album ‘I Cry When I laugh’ has held its place in the charts for 138 weeks and counting. She has also been on the UK’s Top 10 for 39 weeks running, 2.5 billion Spotify streams, a sold out UK arena tour and a number of award nominations including Brit and MTV. Since the release of her first album she has also got her chart-topping studio album ‘Always In Between’ which went straight into the number one spot. ‘I’ll Be There’ secured Glynne the seventh top spot and gave her the record for the most number one singles by a female solo artist. Next year Jess Glynne will also be on tour supporting the Spice Girls.
