Jack White has announced the full schedule for his upcoming tour, The Supply Chain Issues tour. The celebrated musician’s string of global performance sees White perform at various cities across North America, Europe and UK. The former White Stripes singer took to Instagram to announce his upcoming tour.
White will hit the road in Spring 2022 in support of his two upcoming albums. The artist’s third studio album Fear Of The Dawn is set to be released on 8th April 2022 and Entering Heaven Alive will be released on 22nd July 2022. Both albums will be released via Third Man Records, the record label founded in 2001 by White in his hometown Detroit. White has released his solo albums via the label since his debut solo album Blunderbuss in 2012.
Fear Of The Dawn will be available to pre-order on CD, Vinyl and various digital interfaces. Fans of wax will be able to pre-order the album in five editions. A midnight blue release with a specially printed jacket will be available via Vault Novelties Store to Third Man Records Vault Members. Fans will also be able to pick up the album in astronomical blue in selected independent record shops and a moon glow white edition will be available at Target. Rough Trade Records will stock a split moon glow and astronomical blue LP and poster as well as a Third Man Records compilation CD. Urban Outfitters will also be offering an added incentive, when bought with the album fans can obtain an exclusive slipmat.
The Supply Chain Issues tour will be produced by event conglomerate Live Nation and marks White’s first headlining show in four years. The worldwide tour kicks off with two very special performances held in White’s hometown at the Masonic Temple Theatre on 8th and 9th April 2022, these particular sets will celebrate the hotly anticipated release of Fear Of The Dawn. White will begin the UK leg of his tour with two performances at London’s Eventim Apollo on 27th and 28th June 2022. The multi-instrumentalist will then play throughout Europe across twelve cities, the tour will continue into the US on 13th August 2022 and will conclude in Kansas City on 29th August 2022.
Fans have already experienced a taste of White’s upcoming album Fear Of The Dawn through its first single “Taking Me Back”. The single was released in October and was received with great critical and commercial success. The track the singer’s first solo release since 2018 and has been described by PASTE as “a return to White’s sweet spot”. The single was also released with an accompanying music video directed by White and co-directed by Lauren Dunn. The single and video are available to stream on White’s YouTube channel as well as other platforms.
Special pre-sale tickets for White’s tour will be made available on 13th December 2021 for Third Man Records Vault members. Through a new partnership, the Citi card will be the official card for The Supply Chain Issues Tour and through the programme cardholders will get access to pre-sale tickets from 14th December until 16th December 2021. Music fans are also able to register for pre-sale tickets by saving “Taking Me Back”, registered customers will have access to tickets on 17th December 2021. The general public tier of tickets will be available on 17th December 2021, fans will also have access to purchase limited-edition VIP packages for each show.
