Garage-Rock pioneer Jack White has continued the build-up to his new album today, with the announcement of a pair of headline dates in London later this year. The shows will mark his first return to these shores in four years.

This announcement comes in tandem with the recent reveal of both title and release date of the Detroit native’s third studio solo album. Released through his own label, Third Man Records, and recorded in private studios in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville, Boarding House Reach will be released on March 23. The project’s first single ‘Connected By Love’ can be listened to now, and you can check out the video below.

White will play at the Hammsersmith Apollo in London on June 27 and 28. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on January 26. However, members of the Third Man Records Vault will be able to access pre-sale early from 10am on January 22. Alternatively, fans will be able to access pre-sale tickets via the Ticketmaster Verified Fan Scheme. You can register here, and closes at midnight on January 18.

A press release says the record sees White “expanding his musical palate with perhaps his most ambitious work thus far, a collection of songs that are simultaneously timeless and modern.”
