The legendary Film Composer Hans Zimmer has announced that he is going on tour for the first time ever, playing shows across Europe beginning April 2016.

The composer is responsible for dozens of iconic scores for some of Hollywood’s most beloved films, including Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Night, Interstellar, Cool Runnings, True Romance, and The Lion King, which won an Oscar for ‘Best Original Score’ in 1994.

Zimmer played a couple of sold out dates last year at London’s Hammersmith Appollo, where both Johnny Marr and Pharrell Williams joined him on stage. Now with a taste for live performance Zimmer has announced a full European tour, including two more UK dates. Quoted in a press release he stated: “Performing a tour like this is something that I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled that the time has finally come.

“I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before.”
