Have you ever dreamed about falling asleep to the soothing voice of Harry Styles? Tonight, your dream will become true. No need to listen to Harrys songs to fall asleep, the singer is reading you a bedtime story! Styles has teamed up with the “Calm” app to read a bedtime story for his fans – and it’s going to be released today. But his fans are anything but calm.
The meditation app “Calm” is helping people who are having problems to fall asleep or a suffering from anxiety. In the app you can listen to soothing sleep stories, relax and meditate. And now, Harry Styles is helping you to do so.
On Sunday (July 5), the Calm-twitter account posted a tweet that teasingly used emojis: A watermelon, z’s, a book, the word “soon” and a bed. “This Wednesday.”, the tweet reads. As Harry Styles has a popular song named “Watermelon Sugar”, many fans were hoping that this would be a hint to him reading a bedtime story. After all, he wouldn’t be the first celebrity to do so, Matthew McConaughey and Stephen Fry have both lent their voices to the Calm Sleep Stories. And as Styles has a deep voice and talks quite slow, his fans have been asking the app owners for quite a while now to get Harry in for a lullaby or a story.
Now, the fans have got what they’ve wanted. After the comment section of the tweet was about to explode, the Calm-account has posted another tweet. “Wednesday. #DreamWithHarry” the tweet reads, including a video with tweets from fans. “It’s here”, the video shows afterwards. The short clip ends with Styles introducing himself: “Hello… I’m Harry Styles.”

The stories narrated by Harry are called “Dream With Me” and will be available on the platform from today (8 July). However, there is no information yet as from what time the stories will be available. The “Calm” app is not free but offers a 7-day free trial. There was also a cooperation with the brand “Kleenex” which offered a 3-month free subscription, but the cooperation got deleted only half an hour after it was released, as too many Harry-fans were using it.
Even though the app is designed to help people to become calm and fall asleep, Styles’ fans have been reacting with quite the opposite. Many of them have been freaking out expressing that they won’t be able to fall asleep at all if they’re listening to their idol talking them to sleep. If you want to listen to Harry reading you a bedtime story, just download the app and keep an eye on Twitter for updates.
