The HAIM sisters have announced the coming of their highly-anticipated third album, Women in Music Pt. III. The band took to their social media to reveal the release date, which is April 24 (via Polydor), and the cover art. See the announcement and the cover from the Instagram post below.
The announcement came after the three-piece group erased all of their Instagram posts and subsequently posted the images of the members with a cryptic acronym, “WIMPIII”. They also invited their fans to guess the album title based on such acronym and subsequently unveiled today that Women in Music Pt. III will be the title.
Women in Music Pt. III is a follow-up to their 2017’s LP Something to Tell You, which spawned hits like “Want You Back” and “Little of Your Love”. The next album has been teased with a string of singles: “Summer Girl“, “Hallelujah“, and the brilliant “Now I’m in It”.
The album contains 16 tracks in total, with the previously released singles included. The “If I Can Change Your Mind” hitmaker also announced the drop of new single “The Steps”, the second track on the LP, which will come tomorrow (March 3). Moreover, Rostam and Ariel Rechtshaid are listed as the main producers of this upcoming record. They are HAIM’s frequent collaborators who played a huge role in making Something to Tell You.
The cover is shot by another frequent collaborator of theirs Paul Thomas Anderson. He is behind all live videos from the Something to Tell You era and every music video of their singles from Women in Music Pt. III. Album pre-order is available now, alongside the exclusive bundles including a signed vinyl. Visit their official site for purchase and more information.
