Gary Barlow has released his new song Incredible, which features on this years Argos Christmas Ad entitled, An Evening with AbracaDaisy & The Incredible Lucy. This is Gary Barlow’s second single off his upcoming album Music Played By Humans, which will be out on the 27th of November.
The ad features two sisters, Daisy and Lucy, who look through the Argos catalogue or the “Book of Dreams” where they find a magic set. They then put on a magic show for their family where they perform out of this world tricks such as producing mince pies from a bucket and summoning a flying machine. The tricks get wilder and more spectacular as the ad progresses. Gary Barlow’s song Incredible plays throughout.
Explaining the meaning behind the as, Rob Quartermain, Senior Campaign Manager for Argos, said; “This Christmas families are looking for escapism after what has been a challenging year for so many. Our magic show highlights how a simple gift can make a special memory. As the tricks get bigger, Lucy and Daisy dream bigger and, as if by magic, we see more of their family enjoy the show with them.”
Incredible is Gary Barlow’s second single from his fifth solo album Music Played By Humans, following his first single Elita, featuring Michael Bublé and Sebastián Yatra. The album will also feature other artists such as; James Corden, Alesha Dixon and Beverley Knight with a full orchestra. The album was recorded before lockdown began in the UK in March.
Speaking about the album, Gary Barlow said; “Looking back, little did I realise how poignant this album would be in a time now that orchestras can’t sit in a room together. We finished our last session two weeks before lockdown and when I listen to the album now, it brings back some great memories. We have some of the best musicians in the world in London … and they’re on my recordings – I’m so lucky.”
Incredible is out now on all platforms. Music Played By Humans will be out on November 27th. You can watch the 2020 Argos Christmas ad, An Evening with AbracaDaisy & The Incredible Lucy below.
