Take That frontman Gary Barlow is set to release a solo album later this month (27/11/2020) after a long silence on his solo career. Alongside the new album comes news that Take That will be making a return after Barlow’s album is released. If that news isn’t enough for fans of the Take That singer a tour for his new album is already selling tickets! Clearly, Gary Barlow has been very very busy.
Barlow’s new album Music Played By Humans will be his first solo album in over 7 years! His last release Since I Saw You Last started the theme of long breaks between albums being released 14 years after the album before that. Since I Saw You Last was very successful being debuted at number 2 in the UK and a single (Let Me Go) going gold after the album’s release.
The last time Barlow announced and started selling tickets for a tour before the release of his album tickets sold out almost instantly. If fans want to go see Barlow live they may want to go a snap up tickets asap. given the fact that gigs and tours have had to cancel or be postponed this year due to Covid-19, it’s very exciting to hear plans for a tour to go ahead. Barlow’s new UK arena tour is set to be in 2021 alongside many other much-anticipated shows.
Alongside the announcement of the tour and album Barlow also talked about the break and comeback of Take That. “We’ve tour-album, tour-album since 2005 and everyone just wanted a little break. I’m just c*** at doing nothing, I’ve got to busy myself.”. Barlow has said that he has been writing music for his fellow bandmates in preparation for their new music.

Speaking to the Daily Star Barlow said that he’s “promised fans of the trio – completed by Mark Owen and Howard Donald – that they can expect them to make a comeback once he’s wrapped work on his side project.”. With such quick rapid-fire news coming in it can be exciting to know that overnight we’ve heard of a new album, a tour, and then a return for one of the UK’s most favored and famous Boy Bands from the ’90s
There is yet more exciting news for the fans of Gary Barlow and Take That! Former Bandmate Robbie Williams has been reported to be writing songs for his old bandmates! The Rock DJ was last heard on a Take That song was their LP ‘Progress‘ back in 2010 “I’ve been writing some songs with Gary Barlow in the last few weeks, too. Yeah, so, you know, we will ride again, me and my brothers. I don’t know when that’s going to be but we will ride again.”
