A boxset containing a collection of Freddy Mercury’s solo material was announced on the same day that would have marked the 73rd birthday of the late Queen star. The special boxset will be released on October 11, offering fans a selection of works from the Queen lead vocalist, including three CDs consisting of 32 tracks, a Blu-ray and DVD that features 12 promotional videos and a 10″x 10″ hardback book, giving fans the opportunity to explore the works of the artist beyond the years he spent with Queen.

Back in August, The Foo Fighters performed the classic Queen hit, ‘Under Pressure’ with a Freddy Mercury lookalike on stage during their spot at Leeds Festival. The lookalike, named Ryan, appeared on stage in an iconic yellow jacket and white trousers, adorned with red and gold down the side. A new version of Freddy Mercury’s works, ‘Time Waits For No One’, was released on July 26 this year.
The official release said. ‘Time Waits For No One’ is a tribute to the musical force of Freddie Mercury; the performance, the drama, the vocal range, and after four decades waiting in the wings, is finally out for new and old fans alike.”
