Fred Again.. announces the releases of his latest project ‘Actual Life (April 14 – December 17 2020)’ on Vinyl. The double-disc project will be available to buy at record shops on Saturday, the artists took to his Instagram to announce the release of his debut album on vinyl.
The highly talented musician released his debut project earlier this year on the 16th of April, his album was a diary of his 2020, from April 14th to December 17th. The album encapsulates feelings of joy, sadness and self-reflection an ode to the year the world has just had.
The unique musician samples conversations and moments rather than the traditional sampling of other songs. Clips of Dermot Kennedy busking and zoom conversations between Fred and his friends were sampled throughout the album.
Despite it being Fred Agains debut album, Fred is not a new face in the scene and has been working with some of the biggest artists in the UK before working on his debut piece.
In 2020 the musical wizard released a project titled ‘GANG’ with drill artist Headie One following his release from jail. The project highlighted Headie Ones ability to find comfort in any genre, with the project mixing the artists’ drill lyrics with electronic beats. The album didn’t only star the countries biggest Drill artist it also featured a number of UK talents including Jamie xx, Slowthai, Sampha and FKA Twigs. The latter teamed up with Headie and Fred again in 2021 with the powerful single ‘Don’t judge me’
Fred Again.. Debut project ‘Actual Life (April 14 – December 17 2020)’ is available on all digital platforms and will be released on vinyl this coming Saturday.
