Tuffnel Park’s annual celebration of all things underground and avant-garde, the Raw Power Festival, has added the last few acts to this year’s line up – with the exciting news that experimental electronic ensemble Test Dpt., one of the most influential bands on the industrial music scene in the 1980s, are to play their first live UK show in 20 years following the band’s split in 1997.
The recently announced acts are:
Test Dept:Redux
Follakzoid
Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs
Slabdragger
Woven Skull
Lower Slaughter
Stearica
The Piqnic
This year’s Raw Power is set to be the biggest yet, with local pub The Boston Arms to play host to a variety of acts and DJs, complementing the festival’s already expansive outdoor site and offering festival-goers snacks, refreshments and hospitality. The festival, located at The Dome, Tuffnel Park in London, is a relatively new event – having only been held for the first time in 2014. Despite being in its early stages, it has already gained notable popularity with fans of alternative electro/synth. Showcasing such a broad landscape of independent musical innovation, this year’s festival promises to be an experience not to be missed.
Raw Power 2016 will take place from 27th-29th May.
