Enter Shikari shared their brand new video for the energetic single ‘T.I.N.A.‘ taken off their latest record Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible. The slightly disturbing music clip premiered at 6pm GMT on Thursday 17 December and delivered a weird insight into the peculiar and imaginative minds of the boys behind the Enter Shikari brand. The video offers a surprisingly fitting visualisation for the upbeat electronic track, with its title standing for “There Is No Alternative” – main hook of the lyrics and key to the dystopian feel and underlying meaning of the entire record.
‘T.I.N.A.‘ is track #9 of Enter Shikari’s critically acclaimed sixth album that came out on 17 April 2020 via SO Recordings to predominantly positive reviews. It is also the third official video taken off the record following ‘{ The Dreamer’s Hotel }‘ from 5 March and ‘THE GREAT UNKNOWN‘ from 12 May. The premiere comes just in time as all major media outlets are releasing their annual album and song charts, and Enter Shikari are naturally omnipresent after delivering what is arguably the soundtrack of the messy 2020.
Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible came out right as the UK was entering its first nation-wide lockdown and achieved commercial success and peaked at #2 at the Official Album Chart – Enter Shikari’s highest position and a fifth top 10 release in their career. Upon its release, the album received international acclaim and positive reviews came from all sides, with AllMusic pretty much summarising the dominant opinion that Shikari have delivered “one of the most innovative and genre-obliterating efforts of the year“.
NME pointed out the importance of Nothing Is True: “blending philosophy and science with the bloodied, bruised heart of someone who cares about their fellow man, [the album] offers comfort, reason, familiarity and forward-thinking to give us the soundtrack we need for now“. After originally giving it 4/5, Kerrang! have recently placed the release in their Top 5 of 2020 praising Enter Shikari for taking “just another step in their evolution and journey to the top of the food chain, shining with brighter, bolder colours than any of their peers“.
Thank you to @KerrangMagazine for our position in their
50 Greatest Albums Of 2020! We are honoured.

With the ongoing pandemic originally preventing the band from touring in support of their stellar album, Enter Shikari were forced to reschedule their UK and European Tour for 2021, and then add even more dates for next Autumn. As a result, the St Albans quartet have a very busy year planned ahead, and if the international situation returns to normal before next Spring, the band is set to perform without break between May and October.
Enter Shikari return to the UK next year with a show at Middlesbrough’s Town Hall on 10 May. The band is set to perform in Birmingham, twice in Nottingham and then Edinbugh before continuing in Southampton, Manchester, Cardiff and a long-anticipated return to London’s Alexandra Palace in June. Tickets for all scheduled shows are available on their official website.
