Enter Shikari have announced that they are doing an intimate tour throughout the UK at the end of 2024. This tour will see a big downgrade in venue capacity for the Band as they played a massive UK arena Headline tour in February of this year which celebrated the release of their last release ‘A Kiss For The Whole World’ and saw them partner up with the Music Venue Trust, as well as the fact they are set to play on the main stage at download festival later this week. They will be playing at some much smaller venues this time round, getting up close and personal with their fans.

While their last tour, which was their biggest UK tour to date, supported smaller venues by donating £1 of every ticket sold for the arena tour to the Music Venue Trust, this upcoming tour will see the St. Albans four-piece play at some of these smaller venues.
The band will commence this intimate tour at the Foundry in Torquay on the 26th of November before playing in Sheffield, Liverpool, Norwich and Birmingham, and will finish the tour at Lees Cliff Hall in the seaside town of Folkestone in Kent. They will be joined by Los Angeles Alt. rock band, Teenage Wrist, on all of the dates.
Speaking about this upcoming more personal tour, frontman and producer Rou Reynolds highlighted the importance of giving back to fans saying that “People often travel considerable distances to come to live shows, so we feel it’s important for us to make the effort as well sometimes and play places that your standard tour wouldn’t normally.”
He added “On this run we’ve got some smaller stops that we haven’t played in ages, sandwiched in with cities like Birmingham, Liverpool, and Glasgow, that we didn’t get to visit on our arena tour.”
He also told fans that this may well be the last UK tour for a little while: “As much as we love the bigger rooms it’s going to be killer to play some smaller sweatier places again, and as these will be our last UK shows for quite a while, we couldn’t go into hiding without one last visit to the Barras!”
This announcement comes alongside a video for the live performance of their recent single, ‘Losing My Grip’, at Wembley arena. The single, that was released in January, saw them collab with Fever 333’s Jason Aalon Butler and will be included in their upcoming album, ‘Dancing On the Frontline’, which is going to include various Shakari sound system mixes as well as some BBC live sessions of their songs and this will be released on the 5th of July via So Recordings.
Tickets for the band’s upcoming tour go on presale on June 17 at 10am with general sale beginning on the 19th of June at the same time. You can buy your tickets here.
