After over a year without music festivals, good news came from End of the Road on social media yesterday with the announcement of their full lineup, featuring Hot Chip, King Krule, Sleaford Mods and Stereolab as headliners. The festival will take place from the 2nd to the 5th of September at Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset.

We worked really hard to bring you our 2020 line-up in 2021, but the world had other ideas. Much has changed since we announced our 2021 line-up in December and some of our pals from across the pond are no longer able to make it. pic.twitter.com/r3umRURyRA— EndOfTheRoadFestival (@EOTR) May 5, 2021
In addition to the impressive array of acts announced as headliners, fans can expect to see performances from Jonny Greenwood, John Grant, Little Simz, Whitney, Squid, Tune-Yards, Arlo Parks and The Comet is Coming. Some more newly announced acts include Tinariwen, Arab Strap, Jane Weaver and Scalping. Due to international travel restrictions, the original 2020 lineup had to be adjusted to host mostly UK-based artists. They wrote on Twitter: “We know this is a big change from our original line-up but we’re sure you’ll be ready to party with us in September anyway.” The full lineup can be found on the website.
End of the Road festival first took place in 2006, selling out nearly every year, and they have won many awards since. BBC 6 Music listeners named End of the Road Best Festival for the fourth time. They also received Best Small Festival Award from NME multiple times and the Q Award for Michael Kiwanuka’s Best Festival Performance. NME has said that it is “inarguably, the best curated festival of the summer” in 2019. Meanwhile, The Guardian said that the festival is “utterly magical… End Of The Road steals the summer”.
The majority of tickets were sold out in March, however there is another limited release of tickets to this year’s End of the Road on 20th May. Head over to their website for more information.
