During his latest episode of ‘Rocket Hour’, Sir Elton John chatted with SG Lewis about his album ‘Times’ saying: “the whole album is brilliant. And for all our listeners that don’t know it, it’s called ‘times’, SG Lewis. I would desperately like to do something with you as far as writing or doing something”. Lewis added: “Honestly, that would be a dream come true! That would be incredible. I would absolutely love to!”. Elton John replied : “Well, it would be great because I just love what you’re doing and congratulations. And thank you for coming on the show!”.

The musician told guest SG Lewis that he’s been busy during coronavirus lockdown: “I’ve just done something with Metallica. During this lockdown period. I’ve been working with Gorillaz and people like that. I haven’t been doing any Elton stuff, but I’ve been doing great stuff with other people”. The star has not revealed any more details, however earlier this year Miley Cyrus has told Roman Kemp from Capital FM that she’s working on a Metallica cover album that will feature collaborations from different artists, including Elton John. “I did a Metallica cover of ‘Nothing Else Matters’ featuring Elton John on piano. I’ve got Yo-Yo Ma, Chad Smith; so many all-stars” – Said Miley and continued: “I’m so excited about this collaboration. I’m really stoked. I love when ingredients don’t quite fit”.
The legendary singer, songwriter and performer, Sir Elton John has been on top of music charts for over five decades. Since 1992 his charity has raised more than $300 million for HIV prevention treatment. He recently spoke about hypocrisy of the Vatican refusing to bless gay marriages.
