Ella Eyre teamed up with the Australian-born DJ Sonny Fodera for a brand new single ‘Wired‘ premiered earlier today. Fresh off the release of her latest digital EP Quarter Life Crisis the UK singer-songwriter features as the lead vocalist on the feel-good future dance hit. With a strong summer vibe and gentle keyboard melodies, the upbeat housy track is set to keep us warm in the upcoming winter months.
‘Wired‘ presents exactly the type of simplistic and catchy dance tune where you would expect Eyre’s emblematic vocals to soar high above in a ray of sunshine and positive energy. Sonny Fodera delivers his signature emotive house music that has gradually made him one of the most sought-after DJs in recent years. The collaboration was released as a official audio single, but a potential video or at least lyric visualisation could be on it way soon.

Ella Eyre has recently rescheduled her UK tour for next year, booking six dates across England and Scotland in October 2021. The team-up with Fodera comes only few months after the digital streaming release of her third EP in August this year. The 26-years old singer is yet to record a full lenght follow-up on her gold-certified debut studio record Feline from 2015 that peaked at number 4 in the Uk Albums Chart.
An emblematic in-demand featuring vocalist, Eyre rose to fame in 2013 with her appearance on Rudimental’s global smash-hit ‘Waiting All Night‘. Her unique vocal timbre gave a special flavour to internationally recognised singles such as DJ Fresh’s ‘Gravity‘ (2015) and Sigala’s ‘Came Here For Love‘ (2017), alongside the collaborations with Sigala, Megan Trainor and French Montana for ‘Just Got Paid‘, and Banx & Ranx and Yxng Bane for ‘Answerphone‘ from 2018. With all the features of a future hit, ‘Wired‘ could very well be another pearl in both Eyre’s and Fodera’s extensive repertoirs.
Sonny Fodera boosts an impressive discography of four studio albums and an endless lists of EPs, singles and collaborations with industry titans like Calvin Harris, Disciples, MK and many more. With more than a decade since his debut release the Australian DJ has already performed at some of the industry’s major festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas and Winter Music Conference in Miami. His latest record Rise came out in 2019 via his own London-based label Solotoko.
Sonny Fodera is expected to tour the UK between February and March 2021 with parties in Leeds, Nottingham, Cardiff, Birmingham, Dublin, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Liverpool. Meanwhile, if you are thirsty for yet another house party this Saturday, Fodera is holding an exclusive online ‘Kitchen Session’ DJ set tomorrow at 4pm BST.
