The announcement comes after the 25-year-old singer premiered the music video for her latest single, ‘New Me’, which was released, on January 16, 2020. The track chronicles the singers efforts to get over a breakup and with the help of a friend she turns negativity into positivity.
Speaking about her new track, ‘New Me’, Ellla Eyre said: “‘New Me’ is one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written and I’ve been excited about this one for a while. We’ve all made bad decisions at the end of a relationship and ‘New Me’ is about embodying a whole new mindset and finding the strength and self worth to cut off a toxic situation.”
Ella’s new track, ‘New Me’ follows the release of ‘Mama’, which is also a new offering from the singer. Since signing a new record deal with Island Records, last year, a new studio album looks to be well on the way.
Although this will be Ella’s first headline tour since her first, in 2015, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t enjoyed stints on the road. The singer recently enjoyed stints on the road alongside talent such as The Script, Little Mix and Olly Murs.
Ella Eyre got her first big break, in 2014, when she featured on vocals for Rudimental’s track ‘Waiting All Night’, which was a double-platinum number one single. The record went on to win the BRIT Award for British Single of the Year.
However, it wasn’t until 2015, that Ella released her debut album, ‘Feline’ to critical and comerical success. The singer’s debut offering saw her bag two MOBO awards for Best Newcomer and Best Female Artist.
