Ahead of it’s annual ceremony on February 21st, the full list of nominees for the 2018 BRIT Awards have been revealed. The 38th incarnation of the event will be held at London’s O2 Arena, and the first winner has already been confirmed as Jorja Smith, who has claimed the Critics Choice Award.
Leading the way in terms of number of nominations are the likes of Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and Rag’n’Bone Man, all of whom have enjoyed marquee years musically, over the last 12 months.
Dua Lipa stands alone in terms of nominations, having accumulated five in total, including British Female Solo Artist, British Single, and British Breakthrough. The 22-year-old songstress has made history in becoming the first female artist in the history of the Awards to receive five nods in a single year.
