Dua Lipa has added two UK dates to her ‘Future Nostalgia’ tour. The dates include performances at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, (May 29), as well as Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena the day after.
Supporting the ‘IDGAF’ vocalist during her tour, Lolo Zouaï and Buck Betty will be attending. Dua Lipa is due to perform at major cities around the UK. These include Manchester, London, Leeds, and Glasgow. For the full gig schedule, check out the list further down, and for tickets, they go on general sale at 9 am on February 28.
Dua Lipa’s second album, ‘Future Nostalgia’, is due out on April 3. The tour’s name was derived from the singer’s album, a successor to her critically acclaimed, self-titled debut.
Elsewhere, Dua Lipa is due to play Hungary’s Sziget Festival in the summer. It runs from August 5-11. Other acts scheduled to perform include DJ/producer Calvin Harris, The Strokes and grime icon Stormzy. Kings of Leon, Foals, Sigrid and Anna Calvi are also billed.
At the end of January, Lipa released her latest single, ‘Physical’. Check out the Director’s Cut music video above.
Speaking to NME about her second album, Dua Lipa said: “What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favorite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine,”
She added: “I was inspired by so many artists on the new record from Gwen Stefani to Madonna to Moloko to Blondie and Outkast, to name just a few.”
