Lewisham rapper Don Strapzy has released his new track ‘Ironside Freestyle’, the 30-year-old rapper released his new track accompanied by a video outside the home pitch of his Sunday league side Se Dons.
The 30-year-old rapper has been rapping for over 10 years and has appeared on some of the biggest UK rap platforms including, Charlies Sloths Fire in the booth, SBTVs F64 and Kenny Allstar Voice of the streets. As well as working alongside some of the biggest UK rappers such as Giggs, Fekky and Ghetts.
The rapper who previously went under the name Dru Blu has put music on the back burner in recent years, focusing more on his Sunday league side Se Dons. The side has garnered a cult following with over 200 thousand subscribers and some of the largest attendances in Sunday league.
In an interview with fellow rapper Clue on the youtube channel ‘not for the radio’ the rapper turned businessman said “I maybe didn’t achieve what I should have in music,but like I said were coming back this year”
‘Ironside freestyle’ is only Strapzys second release in 2021 alongside his track ‘Eltham’ but with his side Se Dons recently having won the league fans could expect the Lewisham native to deliver more music for those demanding it.
Don Strapzy has showcased some of the best footballing punchlines in his music always ensuring he represents the SE Dons wherever he goes, his latest video features a number of SE Dons players and supporters including club captain and long time friend ‘Big G’.
