Frontman Rob Damiani said of the new single and video, which has been dedicated to David Beckham: “We wanted to deliver these very deliberate, jolting shifts like we’ve never done before. I wanted to write something about an aspect of social media culture I’d really noticed in the last year. Of people tearing other people down, with much of that destructive negativity coming from the supposed fans of bands and teams. In football, you get these ultra fans who go way beyond the point of criticism into cruel, unadulterated bullying.”

Don Broco’s last album, ‘Technology’ was released in 2018 through SharpTone Records. Since then, they have released two non-album singles, ‘Half Man Half God’ and ‘Action’ in 2019. They began writing new songs for their fourth album ‘Amazing Things’ in early 2020 and started recording in December 2020.
