In recent years, the Australian natives have seen their name grow considerably, this is no doubt due to the massive indie scene which is found in the UK. Like many other artists this year, they have had to delay the release of their album and have announced over the weekend that they will play the album in full at the show.
Taking place in their new adoptive home they have found in the UK the event is obviously still subject to change as we still are no clearer as to when the virus will be clear. The show was announced on Banquet Records Twitter page and the tickets went on sale this morning and, as of writing this, there are still plenty left.

‘The Glow’ is to be the band’s third album and it has seen its release date being pushed back to the 10th of July in response to the ongoing pandemic (if you weren’t too sure why somehow). So far they have released three singles off the album; ‘Silver’, ‘Life is a Game of Changing’ and ‘The Glow’. The second of the three is the most different to their typical sound bringing in a heavy element of electronic with the programmed drums that incorporates a ‘four on the floor’ beat, something synonymous with the genre.
Their two previous albums have seen them labelled as up and comers in the indie scene and they have cemented themselves as firm favourites, with every show they announce being in high demand. They have recorded hits with ‘Delete’, ‘Step up the Morphine’ and a cover of Cher’s hit ‘Believe’ (a clash of worlds I don’t think anyone saw coming).

This makes it a cause for excitement for all DMA fans across the world as not only do they have a new album to look forward to, they also have the opportunity to see them in an intimate setting. 2020 may be starting to change.
