Dave announces his tracklist for his sophomore album, the 23-year-old announced his sophomore album ‘We’re all alone in this together’ earlier this month and it is set to release on the 23rd of July this year.
The south London rapper took to his Instagram yesterday night to share the tracklist of his second album with his 2 million followers.
The features include Stormzy on the already released hit ‘Clash’, singers Snoh Aalegra and James Blake, and Nigerians WizKid and co-founder of the Nigerian Alte movement Boj. The features have amped the excitement as the release date creeps closer, with no other rappers except Stormzy and of course Dave on the project it will be interesting to see the type of music Dave releases on his sophomore album.
Dave went on a 2-year hiatus following the release of his chart-topping debut album ‘Phychodrama’, the project that saw the then 21-year-old win a Mercury Prize as well as a Brit award for album of the year. His Hiatus ended in April of this year when the Streatham rapper released a two-pack titled ‘Titanium & Mercury’, the track ‘Mercury’ featured album mate Kamal who dropped his debut project earlier this year.
During Daves time away from the limelight, the 23-year-old rapper only allowed his fans in with snapshots on his Instagram story or feed. Following the announcement of his album, the talented young artist shared that he will be on his second GQ cover, with the publication dropping a video and print interview with the rapper helping the fans get to know the artist better away from his music.
Dave Sophomore album ‘We are all alone in this together’ is set to release on the 23rd of July and can be preordered here.
