Da Beatfreaks have announced their first annual community day, set to go ahead on Saturday 21st August in South East London.
The event is set to take place at DBF cutz, the barbershop owned by the UK producer duo in Charlton.
The duo announced the back to school event on Sunday and announced they will be giving away over 50 free back to school bags with school accessories, free haircuts for over 55s and under 15s, free food and ice cream for all kids and a raffle for a chance to win a new pair of Nike trainers and a Nike tech tracksuit.
In the caption on their post announcing the event, the pair stated that “We know how hard it was for our parents to be able to buy us school bags, school accessories and sometimes even a haircut. We are so happy to be able to do this for our community and all the children. This is just the start and we appreciate all your support so far…”
The duo are multi-platinum producers signed to Columbia Records, the pair have had their hand in producing and creating UK hits such as ‘Pumpy’ featuring Deno, AJ, Swarmz and the late Cadet, ‘Motorola’ featuring Dappy, Swarmz and Deno and ‘Self Obseessed’ alongside Krept, Konan, D Block Europe and Deno, which all sit on a combined 21 million views.
The pair from South London, Woolwich and Charlton respectively are giving back to their community having opened their barbershop in their hometowns in early 2020 they are now looking to give back to their supporters and community.
