A mysterious post on former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant’s official website has prompted a wave of speculation from fans about a potential reunion of the iconic rock band.
Led Zeppelin themselves haven’t performed together since December 2007, when they headlined London’s O2 Arena, as part of the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert, during which over 20 million ticket requests were made for the single date. The concert was eventually released in 2012 titled Celebration Day.

The speculation has arisen today and the total deletion of Robert Plant’s official website, with only the words ‘Any time now…” emblazoned on the website’s black background. In the past, it has been rumoured that Plant who put the kibosh on potential reunions of Led Zeppelin, with fellow surviving bandmates Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones apparently game.
Plant is currently collaborating with The Sensational Space Shifters, which could well be what the post is referring to. However, reports from Feel Numb, suggest that Plant may well have approved a reunion for 2017’s Desert Trip festival, which takes place in October. It is though that the decision could have been made with the impending 50th anniversary of the band’s formation in mind, and that the celebrations could extend into further gigs into 2018.
