Craig David has collaborated with MNEK for his new single “Who You Are”. The single was released on October 22nd and has been described as an uplifting song “That supports someone to live authentically themselves”. The singer also announced that he is set to release his new album 22 on May 13th.

Craig Ashley David MBE is a British singer, songwriter, rapper, DJ and record producer who was introduced to the music world in 1999 when he featured on the hit single “Re-Rewind” with Artful Dodger. The single reached number 2 in the UK Official Singles Charts and the singer went on to release his debut album Born to Do It in 2000. The album reached number 1 in the UK Official Albums Charts and spawned popular hit singles “Fill Me In”, “Walking Away”, “Rendezvous” and “7 Days”
Uzoechi Osisioma “Uzo” Emenike known as MNEK is a British singer, songwriter and record producer who has collaborated with Zara Larrson, H.E.R, Dua Lipa, Years & Years, The Saturdays, The Wanted, Kylie and Madonna to name a few. The singer began writing with production team Xenomania at the age of 16 and achieved initial chart success when he featured on Gorgon City’s single “Ready for Your Love” which reached number 4 in the UK Official Singles Charts.
The singer/songwriter in describing the writing process of the new collaborative single with David said “I wrote the hook, he wrote the verses, he really wanted me to stay on it with him and like … who’s actually gonna say no to Craig David? He’s the best “to do it”! This is absolutely a tick off the bucket list for me”
David when describing the single’s message and vibe said “It feels so authentic, it has intention. Put on ‘Who You Are’ to try and talk to someone that needs help.” The duo performed their single for the first time on Strictly Come Dancing yesterday October 24th.

The title of David’s new album 22 references his debut album “Born To Do It” released on August 14th 2000, which will be 22 years old when the singer releases his new album on May 13th. The musician performed the album in its entirety for the Anniversary of the album via a global live stream concert on May 8th.
Album 22 will be the singer’s eighth studio album following his last album The Time Is Now released in 2018. The musician has rescheduled his postponed Hold That Thought Anniversary UK Tour to 2022. The tour was postponed due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and is now set to kick off in April 2022.

David signed a global publishing deal with Round Hill Music on September 9th 2020. The publishing deal includes the administration of the singer’s music releases to date and his future music releases. The musician is set for a busy time as he was recently announced as a judge on the upcoming Simon Cowell game show Walk The Line. The singer is also set to perform virtually for the Radio Kiss Haunted House Party which runs from October 24th-October 31st and will be seen performing this week on October 29th in Bedford. The musician’s Hold That Thought Anniversary UK Tour kicks off on April 7th in Nottingham.
