Coldplay’s latest album, ‘Everyday Life’ received four of five stars in an NME review. The double album was released on November, 22 and hailed as “a confounding experiment from a deceptively forward-thinking band.”
The review summarised that ‘Everyday Life’ regularly steps to the left-field, proving that Coldplay are more adventurous than they’re often given credit for.”
Recently, Coldplay decided to search for ways to make touring more sustainable and less harmful against the environment. Chris Martin said, “We’re taking time to see how our tour can be actively beneficial…All of us have to work out the best way of doing our job.”
It has been Martin’s ambition to ensure all future tours “have a positive impact.”
He further said: “Our next tour will be the best possible version of a tour like that [their last world tour] environmentally. We would be disappointed if it’s not carbon neutral.”
Coldplay released the music video for ‘Daddy’ in November. It was a collaboration between the band and Aardman Animations, the company behind Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run. The music video was a combination of live-action puppetry, digitally painted sets, and 2D animation.
