Last month when Catfish and the Bottlemen officially announced details regarding their second album (see our article on it here) they also announced tour dates throughout the UK as is the usual for bands releasing an album. The tour dates initially announced are as follows:
8/4 – Southend – Cliffs Pavillion
9/4 – Doncaster – Dome
11/4 – London – O2 Forum Kentish Town
12/4 – Brighton – Dome
25/6 – Bristol – Lloyds Ampitheatre
8/7 – Manchester – Castlefield Bowl
However due to what I can only imagine is increased demand for live shows, Catfish have announced a following three new dates across the UK in support of their second album ‘The Ride':
14/5 – Hull – Arena
20/5 – Margate – Winter Gardens
21/5 – Northampton – Royal and Derngate
Catfish and the Bottlemen’s eagerly anticipated second album ‘The Ride’ is set to be released next month on 27th May. The confirmed track list is:
‘7’
‘Twice’
‘Soundcheck’
‘Postpone’
‘Anything’
‘Glasgow’
‘Oxygen’
‘Emily’
‘Red’
‘Heathrow’
‘Outside’
So far only ‘Soundcheck’ has been formally released as a single; however ‘7’ can be easily found on Youtube:
Catfish and the Bottlemen enjoyed widespread commercial success with their debut album ‘The Balcony’ in 2014, as well as some critical success; winning the BBC Introducing Award at the inaugral BBC Music Awards and just last year they won British Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards.
