Bullet for My Valentine have unveiled a music video of live tour footage for their single, ‘Piece of Me’. The footage captured for the music video was filmed last year during a tour of the UK in November. It was described by frontman Matt Tuck in an article with Metal Hammer as “one of the angriest songs on the record”.

“It’s a song about feeling like you’re being taken advantage of. You give and give and give, and people take take, take, and this song is like, ‘Fuck that, no more, not gonna happen.” says Matt Tuck, in the track by track review of the Welsh band’s sixth album.

“In general, people taking advantage of someone’s good nature, and it’s just about giving time, effort, love, affection – whatever you want to say really – and feeling like you don’t get anything back and they’re taking another piece of you.” he concludes.

The sixth album is notable for a shift in musical styles from the band’s heavy metal roots, steering down a more electronic path. The album has at this time spawned five singles, including ‘Don’t Need You’, ‘Over It’, ‘Piece of Me’, ‘Letting You Go’ and ‘Not Dead Yet’. The album was awarded three and a half stars in a review by Dannii Leivers on Metal Hammer.

The release of the live video comes soon before the band embark on a tour of European dates in August.
