Tiller released an in-depth tour poster through his Twitter page. The tour begins in Marseille, France on October 17, and will culminate with 6 dates in the UK and Ireland at the end of November. The tour also includes two massive dates at London’s famous Hammersmith Apollo.
The tour announcement follows new music from both Tiller and SZA, who released new music in May and June, respectively. Tiller’s second album True to Self, the follow-up to 2015’s platinum selling Trapsoul, was given a surprise overnight release, having initially been slated for a June release.
Tiller also joined the likes of Chance the Rapper, The Weeknd, and Skepta in playing London’s Wireless Festival last weekend.
SZA meanwhile released her much-anticipated debut LP Ctrl last month, to glowing reviews, and continues the pattern of every TDE label member releasing a project in 2017, following Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN in April.
It is strongly believed the Schoolboy Q will be the next to step to the plate, with the sequel to last year’s fantastic Blank Face LP, with the 30-year-old MC taking to social media to proclaim “Euros, pounds, and sum moe s-it!!! BLANKFACE TOUR IS OVER…. new album 2017 f-ck a break I’m already ready.”
