These are the news all the emo scene kids out there have been waiting for: Yungblud is collaborating with Bring Me The Horizon. BMTH singer Oli Sykes has confirmed the exciting rumours that they will collaborate with Doncaster-born Yunglud.
Fans first started to expect a possible feature when Yungblud tweeted Sykes and keyboardist Jordan Fish to check their inbox back in June, to which Sykes replied with the eyes emoji. “Yeah we’ve been scheming, we’ve got something coming”, Sykes revealed in a band chat with MTV Rocks Chart.
Regarding the question if this has to do with involvement in the EPs, he replied with a cheeky “maybe, maybe not.” Seems like though the artists are excited to tease their fans they don’t want to reveal everything just yet. There will be four different EPs, each of them having a different theme with different guests, Fish announced. “I think we might kinda like theme our guests a bit more around what’s going on with each EP”, he said. “When we get into the other EPs, it’ll give us a chance to maybe get some other people on who are a bit more left-field or a bit more out of the box for our band.” As for the Yungblud EP, it “is for the people who are a bit more angry and I guess rock-y.”
2020 will be saved if yungblud and bring me the horizon collab

The news come after both, Bring Me The Horizon and Yungblud, have released new music. In June, Sheffield-based BMTH released their single “Parasite Eve”, along with a music video. As for the four EPs that were mentioned in the Zoom chat, they are part of a project called “Post Human”, a music project that Sykes has been talking about in the past.
But the metal band aren’t the only ones who have been productive during quarantine. Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, released his newest single “Strawberry Lipstick” on July 16, confirming that the “21st century” era is officially over and that it’s time for a new chapter in the Yungblud legacy. And now a part of the new chapter is a collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon, whenever that will happen.
