Bon Iver has announced the postponement of the European tour in support of his latest album ‘i,i‘ to January next year. The first show in the UK leg was supposed to kick off on April 26 at the SSE Arena, Wembly, London, followed by four more shows in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, and Glasgow.
It appears that most dates are rescheduled to January next year. As previously planned, the first date of the tour will be in London, which will take place on January 8, and then three more in Manchester, Leeds, and Glasgow. However, the show in Birmingham has now been officially cancelled. See the full dates below.
It is with great care and empathy to all involved that we announce the rescheduling of the below tour dates in Europe and the UK to January 2021. pic.twitter.com/nF4vXAh6CX

Last August, Justin Vernon released Bon Iver’s fourth comma-oriented project ‘i,i‘. The album is infused with a chamber-folk sound that merges musical elements from Vernon’s first three projects. “Hey, Ma” and “U (Man Like)” are served as the first singles of the record. ‘i,i‘ debuted at number 11 on UK Albums Chart.
Bon Iver’s gig has been another musical tragedy happening in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. Many major music festivals with the likes of Glastonbury and The Great Escape are called off because of the awareness of preventing the spread. Moreover, huge pop concerts by Harry Styles and Camila Cabello also undergo rescheduling, along with many more gigs in the UK.
All tickets purchased for previous dates are still valid for the new dates, while ticket-holders for the cancelled show in Birmingham can reclaim for refund. Meanwhile, those who want to see Bon Iver live can visit here for tickets.
