The alternative, indie rock group Bombay Bicycle Club has announced their latest album Big Day, an eleven-track LP released through their label, AWAL.
Big thanks @SpotifyUK for the support on My Big Day. We couldn’t visit the billboard in Leicester Square yesterday so we sent our doppelgängers. You can stream MBD on @Spotify here – https://t.co/fAUqp35njS pic.twitter.com/UatER2rksu

The four band members, who have become “staples of the indie scene” have spoken about the production of the tracks and how some of the musical ideas have been floating around for more than a decade, stating it just “took a fresh perspective and hard work to realise them.”
The album also features artists of varied genres saying “The sense of adventure on this record also extends to the artists and producers we collaborated with.” This release follows the single “Diving”, a duet with Holly Humberstone, the second track out from Big Day. Frontman, Jack Steadman recalls the inspiration for the song as “a song about that summer you have when you’re 15, the memory of which conjures up such a unique feeling”. The record also features talented musicians including English singer-songwriter Damon Albarn and American Grammy-award-winning superstar Chaka Khan.
With the album opener “Just a Little More Time” described as a “new, revamped Bombay sound”, the group are currently showcasing this new sound, all over the UK. Currently mid-way through their record store dates this October, the group are set to spread their “Subtly intoxicating” sound all over Europe, with their tour this November.
