Bombay Bicycle Club have hinted to an appearance at Glastonbury 2020. In response to a fan’s question on Radio 1’s Live Lounge, the band hinted a return to Worthy Farm.
They were performing the title track from their latest album, ‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’, with Clara Amfo. A fan asked them, “Glastonbury please, any comments?”, to which they said they were “working on it.”
If the hints become reality, it’ll be Bombay Bicycle Club’s fifth time at the iconic Worthy Farm event. Glastonbury 2020 is taking place from June 24-28.
Currently, The 1975 and Coldplay have both confirmed they will not be headlining this year’s festival, whereas it appears Aerosmith have confirmed a slot. Other potential performers include Pet Shop Boys and Kendrick Lamar.
Taylor Swift was recently announced as a headliner, including Paul McCartney and Diana Ross who fills the Sunday legends slot.

In December, Bombay Bicycle Club released their third single, ‘Racing Stripes’. Lifted from their latest album, ‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’, it follows the first two singles, ‘Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)’, released in August, and the self-titled second track from November.
The Guardian, however, awarded the Crouch End band’s latest album two out of five stars. It reads: “BBC’s fifth album is a disappointment: crowded, ill-written and lacking conviction, it sounds like what it will swiftly become: an ad soundtrack”.
