Jessica Smyth (aka Biig Piig) has shared a preview of her new video for track ‘Lavender’ on social media. Twenty seconds preview shows the singer in a dark, sensual candle lit surroundings, wearing black lingerie. The single has a similar smooth vibe as her previously released ones ‘Feels Right’ and ‘Oh No’. This time however the guitar takes the lead and the vocals are similar to Billie Eilish whispers. You can watch the full video below.
In a series of Tweets Biig Piig shared some facts about exploring her sensuality with a new music project: “It feels really good to try new styles and express myself in different ways, exploring my sensuality and feeling myself in this new project really felt like a maturing point I know it’s not the same as what I made before but it’s important to me, feels like personal growth”. She posted: “Growing up I never felt very feminine at all, I felt pretty out of place in my body and never rly felt sexy tbh lol recently I’m learning to embrace every part of myself and I felt so good dressed up in fenty in a sex party scene where I felt a part of it and not ashamed”. She then added: “And I love you so much for embracing all the changes in my style of music, I feel so tied to all of those sounds and am not finished exploring them but rn I’m in my sxc dom phase and feeling great”.

Biig Piig’s new EP ‘The Sky Is Bleeding’ is coming out on 21st May. The album can be preordered here. The singer says it “is a project that I’ve let myself be free and open about situations and fantasies of mine that I haven’t touched on before. My sexuality and secrets I wanted to take the listener as close as I could to some of the intimate and vulnerable places I go alone”.
‘Lavender’ is Biig Piig’s first single of this year. Last month she collaborated with an LA R&B group Emotional Oranges on a ‘Body & Soul’ song.
