Big Zuu drops his GRM daily duppy. The west London rapper, chef and presenter took to the legendary freestyle platform to release his first daily duppy.
Zuu used his daily duppy to showcase a number of flows switching between his regular grime flow and a more melodic sound. He also reminded listeners of his recent accolades with his recent album release, Release of his cookbook and his cooking show Big Zuus big eats.
Big Zuu has been rapping for nearly 10 years, having come up from radio sets on radar and rinse FM, alongside fellow west Londoner and cousin AJ Tracey. Big Zuu is one of the few current rappers who keep the grime sound alive and showcased on his latest release.
Zuu dropped his album Navigate nearly 2 months ago and featured grime legends D Double E, Jme and Novelist, as well as this the project featured Donel, Unknown T, Crafty 893, Maer Muller, Kojey Radical and AJ Tracey. The feature with AJ Tracey was something fans of the duo would have waited a while for with their last collaboration coming around 4 years ago on Zuus ep Big Zuu EP.
Big Zuu is on the second season of his show “Big Zuus Big Eats” which first aired in 2020 and won its first award in October this year at the Broadcast digital awards winning the category “Gamechanger programme of the year”. The show sees Big Zuu, a self-taught chef who has showcased his talents to fans who follow him on social media for the last couple of years, hitting the road in his food truck alongside his two longtime friends Tubsey and Hyder as they go around the country cooking up dishes with a selection of the country’s best comedians.
As well as this to go alongside his show the rapper released his own cookbook named after his show “Big Zuus Big eats” and features over 100 of the rappers recipes infused with Zuus signature style.
