The London indie pop duo look set to wrap up a great year by going on a headline tour throughout the UK this November.
2013 has certainly been a big year for the twosome thus far. Having released album number two June Gloom ironically in June, they toured relentlessly on the festival circuit this summer, taking in shows at Lovebox, Beacons festival and Secret Garden Party amongst others. June Gloom was received to generally positive reviews, with critics favouring the introduction of a rhythm section that wasn’t around for their first album, garnering them a slightly grungey sound, adding another dimension to the harmonic pop songs that Big Deal made a name for themselves on.
Before they go on their headline tour, they do have a couple of other shows, including a performance at the Norwich Sound and Vision Festival on October 12th, before supporting Local Natives on two of the American indie rockers October headline tour. In celebration of this, Big Deal have put together an Autumn Touring Soundtrack on their soundcloud, which features tracks by artists such as Cloud Control, Local Natives themselves and many more. You can check it out below to get you in the mood for what promises to be an exciting autumn for them.
In yet another gift to fans, they have made upcoming single Swapping Spit available for download completely free of charge. To download, click on the soundcloud below.
