The rock trio has announced the new dates for their upcoming tour ‘Fingers Crossed’ which has been rescheduled due to Covid restrictions.
The Scottish rockers who were meant to begin their tour next month announced to fans on their Twitter page that the dates would now be moved to October and November.

Due to COVID, many social events including gigs have now been rescheduled. But with the implementation of the roadmap to recovery, a date of June 21st or later has been given as an estimate for normality in terms of live music and social events. The tour will now start in Liverpool on October 29th and finish on November 4th in Bristol. The ‘Fingers Crossed’ tour is to take place at venues that the band has not played for over a decade and the band promises that their shows will have an intimate atmosphere for their closest fans. Fans are disappointed by the news, but reassurance was given on a comment to the Tweet that tickets bought for the original dates of the tour will be honoured at the rescheduled dates. The band was also meant to headline this year’s Download festival, but due to the same restrictions, the festival was unfortunately postponed again.
Biffy Clyro was formed in Kilmarnock, a Scottish borough, comprising of twin brothers James and Ben Johnston (bass and drums) and childhood friend Simon Neil (lead vocals and guitar). The trio went on to dominate British rock music and gained major success with their sixth album ‘Opposites’. Released in January 2013, the album gave the band a Number One chart position in the UK, the album featured singles ‘Black Chandelier’, ‘Biblical’, ‘Opposite’ and ‘Victory Over the Sun’ and won the band an award. Best album at the Kerrang! Awards the same year of release. The band’s most recent album debuted at Number one in the UK, ‘A Celebration of Endings’ was released in 2020 and is the band’s third number one album. The band’s most acclaimed album, ‘Puzzle‘ was released in 2007 and was recorded in British Columbia, Canada. The album went platinum in the UK and reached number two in the UK charts. The first single off the album ‘Saturday Superhouse‘ was released the same year and gave the band a number one in Scotland.
The band also Tweeted a throwback picture of the Women’s march in 2018, in celebration of International Women’s day held on March 8th.
