‘A Celebration of Endings’ is the upcoming Biffy Clyro album, due for release on 14th August, just in time for the livestream. Initially, the release date was set for 15th May, but given the difficult circumstances surrounding Covid-19, it was pushed back. Three new singles from the record are already out on all platforms – lead single ‘Instant History’, ‘End Of’, and ‘Tiny Indoor Fireworks’. Furthermore, the band will include a soundcheck in which they will play some songs from previous albums. So far, Biffy Clyro have shared eight studio albums since their debut in 2002, and they have gained millions of streams from their worldwide fanbase.
The livestream will run via YouTube and tickets cost £16, which will greatly support the running of the music venue, as well as all the crew involved. Frontman Simon Neil said in a press release, “We are really excited to launch ‘A Celebration of Endings’ with such a unique and ambitious live performance from one of our favourite venues. We would love to be playing live shows to our fans across the world, but as this is not possible we are going to bring the biggest Biffy album launch imaginable direct to your living room.”
Having performed numerous livestreams throughout lockdown, it is surprisingly still not confirmed whether Biffy Clyro’s UK, European, and Australian tour will still go ahead in September. Having begun ticket sales earlier this year, sales were halted in March when the coronavirus became a concern. However, there have been no updates at this time.

Formed in 1995, they are currently signed to 14th Floor Records and have headlined many big UK Festivals including Reading & Leeds in 2013. Biffy Clyro have won four NME Awards and received nominations for two Brit Awards. Their hit song ‘Many of Horror’ was covered by X Factor winner Matt Cardle in 2010, gaining it much success.
