American heavy metal rockers Avenged Sevenfold have added an extra night at London’s O2 Arena due to overwhelming demand. The band will now headline the arena on January 21 and 22, tickets are on sale now.
The band’s first UK tour for three years will be held at Dublin’s 3Arena before stopping at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena, Sheffield Arena, Manchester Arena, Birmingham’s Genting Arena, Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena and Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, finishing at O2 Arena in London. The band will have Disturbed as Special Guests on the tour, with In Flames opening.
The band’s current lineup consists of lead vocalist M. Shadows, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Zacky Vengeance, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Synyster Gates, bassist and backing vocalist Johnny Christ, and drummer Brooks Wackerman. In December 2013 the band celebrated their No. 1 album Hail To The King with a sold out arena tour taking place in Manchester, Birmingham and London’s Wembley Arena.
Avenged Sevenfold has released six studio albums, one live album and eighteen singles and have sold over 8 million albums worldwide.
The Californian band have released a series of Top 10 singles, including Bat Country, Almost Easy, Scream, Nightmare, Welcome To The Family, So Far Away, and Hail To The King and their latest, Shepherd of Fire. They have become known for their spectacular live shows, selling out arenas worldwide and headlining some of the biggest and most successful music festivals.
