Arlo Parks has announced she will be heading out on tour next year around the UK and Europe for her The Collapsed in Sunbeams tour. Arlo will be taking her upcoming debut album on a 26 date tour starting in spring of 2021.
The singer took to her social media pages to announce the tour saying; “Thank you for your patience, trust and hearts. I can’t wait to be popping around the world and seeing your lovely faces. The world is weird right now but some how the thought of playing shows, not just in the UK but in Europe too, is keeping me grounded and smiling. If all is safe I’ll be with you all soon.”
She also reassured her fans outside of Europe that she will be with them soon, saying; “P.S. Those outside Europe, I have plans to meet you soon, as soon as we all can be together. Stay tuned.”
The tour will be kicking off in Brussels on the 9th of April 2021 in Le Botanique Orangerie. She will then be heading to Luxembourg, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Berlin, Munich, Zurich, Lyon, Barcelona, Madrid, Bordeaux, Paris, Utrecht, Amsterdam, Cologne, Tourcoing, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Brighton, Dublin, Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Bristol and London.
The tour will be supporting Arlo’s recently announced debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams, which will be out on the 29th of January via Transgressive. She released her latest single from the album Green Eyes on Friday. The album will also include Arlo’s singles Black Dog, Eugene and Hurt, which are loved by fans because of their in-depth nature and subject matter.
According to a press release, Parks’ album is “a series of vignettes and intimate portraits surrounding my adolescence and the people that shaped it. It is rooted in storytelling and nostalgia – I want it to feel both universal and hyper specific.”
