Metal core band Architects released their first album Nightmares back in 2006, and went on to release their most recent sixth album in 2014, titled Lost Forever // Lost Together. In that time they have developed a large following, becoming one of the prominent names in metal core/post hard core in the UK, touring headline shows worldwide and in the past having supported fellow rock bands including Enter Shikari, Bring Me The Horizon and Suicide Silence.
Now the band are due to premiere their new single A Match Made In Heaven on the Radio 1 Rock Show on Sunday 6th March, with the single assumed to be making an appearance on the band’s highly anticipated seventh album, which is yet to carry a confirmed title or release date -although it was revealed by guitarist Tom Searle back in June of last year that the band had begun demoing songs for the upcoming album – which paired with a new single, suggests that a new album isn’t too far off. Listen to the new track below!

The band, who hail from Brighton, were recently announced to be performing at this year’s Download Festival, joining huge names such as Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Rammstein. Architects first played Download in 2007, and so this year’s set will mark a triumphant return for the band – and hopefully, an opportunity to give any new material a live debut.
We recently published an article detailing a full list of all the confirmed acts so far as well as ticket information for Download Festival 2016, which you can read here.
